Pet care experience
I am a veterinary technician working my way towards vet school right now, but I always have plenty of time for the animals in my care! For drop-in visits, I try to make sure I check in at least three times a day, with extra time for keeping the animals company. I have done drop-in dog/cat sitting for neighbors and friends since high school and had two older rescue dogs of my own for five years. I currently have a large senior dog and a special needs kitten, so I am also comfortable providing medical care. I love getting exercise with dogs, whether it’s a long walk or a nice run, your babies will get plenty of exercise! I also have a 16 year old hermit crab, so I am comfortable with any exotic companions you may have as well.

Olivia was great. Provided regular updates, pics and videos. She was clearly respectful in our home and took care of everything for us while we were away. She even went above and beyond to feed our son’s fish and take our garbage out to the street for pick up. All around solid experience.

Even though my new rescue is apparently an incredible escape artist (worse than anyone can imagine), Olivia was a trooper, a professional, and incredible at keeping her safe. I’m so sorry for how troublesome Lucille was, Olivia!

Availability
Taking care of my own pets is part of my regular routine - morning and night, so it will be no problem to include your precious pets into that routine. Working at a vet hospital full time, it is second nature to me to provide the best care possible to any animal and that doesn’t stop at the hospital doors.
