Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Olivia! I own 2 amazing, beautiful, unique cats including an inpredicatable 2 year old tiger cat, and 2 year old 3 legged Calico. My other pride and joy is my dog named Tinkerbell who I will very willingly talk about and show pictures to anyone interested. I have been a certified veterinary technician at an emergency hospital for the last 6 years. I graduated Becker College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2015. Currently I work at a privately owned general practice as a technician supervisor and head of the surgery and anesthesia department. It has always been my passion to help animals, especially when their owners are not around and need to be taken care of! I have advanced experience handling difficult and/or shy dogs and cats including administering all types of medications including injectable, SQ fluids, and by mouth (pills/liquids). A more specific availability schedule than Rover can provide: I work 10 hour days Monday-Thursday and have Friday-Sunday off. It is common that work may keep me later than expected and it is possible that I will be away from the house close to 12 hours. For house-sitting, I am available anytime, as long as you are aware of the long work hours that can happen! Thank you for understanding my crazy schedule! Please contact me with any questions!

Olivia was absolutely fantastic with my two cats. Both require meds and can be painfully shy with new people. As a result, I get very nervous when I leave them with a sitter. She kept me posted on their progress and made sure they had their meds and made me feel completely comfortable that she was taking great care of them. She is such a kind person. By the end of her stay, the boys had warmed up to her. I highly recommend Olivia!
Olivia is awesome! She came to our house to meet us and Bogey and Bogey instantly loved her! Olivia watched Bogey for us for a few hours and she sent photos to us. It was so nice seeing Bogey play and enjoy his time with Olivia! We will be booking with Olivia again In the future!

I have known Olivia very well for over 10 years and, for the majority of that time, dozens of individuals have trusted their pets to her care while they were away on vacation and a majority of those individuals, if not all, have utilized her as a pet sitter more than once. Not only does she work in the field as a veterinarian technician, and has done so for many years, she is responsible for many pets of her own including the love of her life, her dog, Tinkerbell ("Tink"). The love she has not only for her own dog, but the dogs of her close friends and even those she only pet sits for occasionally, is unmatched. Not only is she a loving caregiver, but as a dog parent herself, she understands and respects the choices of other dog parents and will follow instructions to a tee. Between her work ethic, respectful attitude, and overall loving and gentle personality, I would trust Olivia with the care of my own human child, without thinking twice, and the same can be said for my dog.

A typical day
I love to play with the dogs and cats give them the tender, love and care they need and deserve while their beloved owners are away! Making sure they are safe and as comfortable as possible by spoiling them (just a little) is my ultimate goal!

Availability
Due to my long work days, 10-12 hours possibly, I would take advantage of the hours before and after work to make sure they are well taken care of and feel the love and affection that they need! On my days off, I will take extra time to spend as much time as possible with them so they do not feel worried or lonely!
