I want to snuggle all the pets

Pet care experience

*** Please READ my profile ENTIRELY before contacting (Thanks)!*** It is also important to note that I do work and it is NOT a work-from-home setup. I will be happy to discuss what my work schedule looks like in private messages. Additionally, please LIST THE TIMES in which I will need to arrive for the stay and when I can depart, this can also be coordinated together but WILL NEED to be listed on the request.*** Since the age of 4 years old, I've grown up with all kinds of pets. I've owned cats, dogs, betas, a leopard gecko, and a guinea pig. I am definitely a cat person but please don't tell my dog lol! I absolutely love to be around animals, whether it is playing, cuddling on the couch, or giving treats. I have experience with small dogs such as chihuahuas, min pins, and large dogs such as labs, rottweilers, Doberman pinchers, and huskies. For many years growing up, I have also lived in a household with multiple cats too. I have also fostered kittens, some who needed to be bottle-fed, litter-trained, and even taught one of my foster kittens how to play fetch! In my life, I currently have a cat named Baby Cat and a Husky named Grom, both live with my boyfriend. He has had the husky since 8 weeks old but of course, he's very much my boy too. We recently took in Baby Cat in the last year but we've known Baby Cat since he was 6 weeks old. As for professional experiences, I have friends and family (even professors) who I have regularly pet/house sit for since the age of 18 and so most of my experience is outside of Rover. I've even had a couple of stays where I have completed pet sitting stays for up to a month while owners were out of the country. It is super likely that during my stay I will give your pet(s) cute but obnoxious little nicknames too. I pride myself on my organization and my communication skills. I can guarantee that when booking with me, you will feel as though you and your pet are a top priority. As for other personal information, I am 28 years old and working full-time as a social worker in the medical field. I have a dog and a cat who I share with my boyfriend and they are SPOILED ROTTEN. I am an east bay area native.

Olivia was great! We tried to be as clear as possible with expectations, she was great with daily updates and if there were questions, she did not hesitate to reach out. It was great having her in our home. I will definitely book her again!

Another stress-free trip away from our two pups. We feel confident when Olivia dog sits that they will be well taken care of. Thank you!

Olivia is such a great caretaker to our two dogs. She’s very communicative and prompt. She gives updates while we’re out which is such peace of mind.

Please note that I only do HOUSE SITTINGS. With house sittings, rest assured I will stay in your home overnight with your pet(s) unless we communicate otherwise. I can also provide care for additional pets which are not listable on Rover, such as birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, etc. and I will discuss with you extra charges for such prior to booking. The same goes for the care of house plants too. For sittings, I also appreciate being shown where things in the home are that I might need (little things like where things are in the kitchen, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.) I can easily feel uncomfortable seeking these things out on my own as I don't want to be intrusive. Additionally, I appreciate being shown/told what I can/cannot use in the home such things as TVs, kitchen appliances, laundry, etc. Especially, for longer stays beyond 3 days. Again for longer stays, it is also helpful to know details on things like when the trash needs to be taken to the curb and if you have people landscapers and such that may come throughout the time I will be in the home.

Information Olivia B. would like to know about your pet

**** I request that there is a written list/instructions provided to me either via text/email or left behind in the home so that I can reference them throughout the stay. This helps me stay as organized as possible, ensures that your pet(s) are being cared for properly and I don't mix anything up as I have a reference. I also won't want to bother anyone while they are away. **** Some helpful things to let me know the following about your pet(s) - Feeding schedules and portions of food - How do you go about giving them treats, snacks, supplements, human foods, etc. - Whether they can be left in their yard unsupervised or not for bathroom breaks or playtime - Anything special I need to do when leaving them alone in the house - Sleeping arrangements for your pet(s) - How they are with other animals both in the home and outside - How are they on a leash and when they see other animals/people on walks (Please note that I reserve the right to limit/discontinue walks should your dog(s) show any issues like aggression that I can not correct or may be uncomfortable with. This is to ensure the safety of myself, your pet(s), and others.) - Are they destructive when left alone - Do they try to poop/pee somewhere they know they shouldn't when you are away or they are left alone - Do they get into food/litter boxes/trash when you are away or not looking - Do you place them in a kennel and when/why - Do your pets get along together or do they just tolerate each other (please mention topics such as eating near each other, toys, treats, sleep arrangements, playing behaviors, chasing, etc.) - If your pet has bad habits or does things they aren't supposed to do and how do you stop/correct/discipline them - Are there places they don't like to be petted Otherwise, let me know what you need/want me to know! Other than that, their tempers, things they like (treats and toys), what do they normally do all day. I don't mind sending updates and photos while pet(s) are in my care, just let me know as I won't want to bother anyone while they are vacationing and such. Lastly, I do reserve the right to adjust and/or increase the cost of sittings if your pet(s) require additional care such as medications, treatments, etc. This also goes for additional pets which are not listable on Rover, such as birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, etc. I'm more than happy to take requests with smaller pet(s), and I will discuss with you extra charges for such.

A typical day

I love to play fetch with dogs and even cats! I'm also a huge snuggler with pets so I can always give a good scratchin' and I always have a warm lap for them to curl upon. Anytime that I am in the house, I will always give your pet(s) the option to go back and forth from the house to the yard too.

It is important to note that I do work FULL TIME and it is NOT a work-from-home setup. Details about my work schedule and pet care can be discussed in detail when a sitting request is proposed. And, although I am sort of a homebody, I do reserve the right to occasionally leave to do errands and socialize. I will keep in mind the needs of your pet(s) when I decide on my outings and I will be sure to handle feedings/snacks and take dogs on outings before I go and immediately upon my return.
