As an avid lover of all animals, I have always surrounded myself with them. I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, snakes, etc! As an adult I began taking care of animals on my own as a foster for the local animal shelter (started in 2017). I gained experience with all ages of puppies and adult dogs- including senior dogs! I also have a lot of experience fostering cats- kittens, momma and babies, and adult cats. I took on kittens with disabilities that otherwise would have been euthanized. I adopted my first kitten in 2018 (foster fail) who has three legs! My most recent foster fail cat I adopted in 2021. I also have a two year old dog who is the center of my boyfriend and I’s universe. I have a lot of love to give and I guarantee that extends to any of your fur babies that enter our home! My boyfriend and I both work full time jobs away from the home, but we switch off coming home to let the dog out. The cats are typically fine without us for the day, and we make up for it by lots of snuggles and playtime in the evenings, mornings, and weekends. Our pets currently have full access to the house and yours will too! If they need some of their own space the entire time or just at the beginning to adjust, we have a spare bedroom where we often keep animals separate.
