I am a student at the University of Delaware and my major has everything and anything to do with all animals. All things involved with dogs on campus I am a part of. Last semester, I joined the Canine Companion for Independence Club, which raises service dogs for their first year before sending them to advanced training. As a member, I would pet sit these dogs when their raisers had an event or engagement when they weren't able to bring them along. I will work with any type of dog this summer. Because I am attending an out of state institution, this would only be for summer and winter breaks. I've always been a pet lover ever since I was a toddler. I begged my parents for years to get a dog, and we finally got one when I was around 7. Ever since then I've always wanted to be a veterinarian. I'm hoping this little business can help me out with my pet experience for vet school.
