Pet care experience
I have always loved animals, and from taking care of my neighbours pets when they went away to training my dog to do complex tricks, I’ve gained valuable experience in handling animals. I completed work experience in a dog groomers where I learned how to handle nervous dogs and puppies. I also did some work experience in a doggy day care and professional walkers which will has made me confident in handling different breeds/temperament dogs.

Olivia has regularly looked after my 6 year old cockapoo (honey) for the past few years. She’s friendly and very happy which makes honey feel comfortable - she can be picky! Olivia walks Honey twice a day when she looks after her over a weekend/short holiday and when I return Honey I’d always tired and happy. I’d definitely recommend hiring Olivia.

I understand that it can be odd to invite somebody that you don’t know to look after a pet which is considered a family member and can ensure you that I am responsible and reliable and very happy to meet prior to ensure that you are happy with me. I am also a very clean person who you can be confident inviting into your home to care for your pets - it’s important to me that all customers who I house sit for trust me in there home.

I’d love to know your dogs favourite activities, toys and treats so that I can keep them happy while you are away. As important as it is to make sure that your dog is having fun, it’s essential that I can keep them safe so I’d like to know any medical requirements/special treatment that they may need, before my visit. Other things I’d like to know: - is your dog reactive to other dogs - what are your dogs feeding times - house rules in your home (furniture rules etc) - how does your dog let you know that they are ready to go outside / go on a walk / be fed etc. All of these questions will help me in caring for your dog in the best and safest way possible!
A typical day
My dog (Ruby) is very energetic and so I know how to tire dogs out and keep them occupied. I am very happy to play games like tug of war and fetch with the dogs who enjoy it. I also love looking after smaller and older dogs who aren’t as active, I’m very happy to slow down for the less energetic dogs. Just let me know what your dog likes and I’ll do my best to keep them happy and entertained!

I’ve recently moved to London for my placement year from university, which means that I work 9-5 Monday to Friday. I have a flexible work from home schedule and can take breaks for walks/playing. I am available after 5pm everyday and can also work weekends.
