My mom has a Golden Retriever, Sirus, and an Australian Shepard, Hershey. Growing up my sister and I took care of them while they were puppies while my mom was at work. I am used to high energy, big dogs. The past two years, before I moved to the Wilmington area, I would often dog sit, house sit, and walk dogs for my co-workers in the lab since I wasn't able to have my own pets. I have cat sat for friends and coworkers and feel comfortable stopping in and taking care of pets while you are away. I had a family who I was cat sitting for that I had to administer medicine to the cat and feel comfortable giving medication to pets (as long as I am briefed beforehand). I love animals but unfortunately, since I will be traveling for work I am not able to get a dog of my own. I went to school at the University of Rochester for my Bachelors in Linguistics and Masters in Data Science. I moved down to Wilmington for a consultant position and may have to travel. This keeps me from getting a dog of my own.
