I am a 26 year old animal enthusiast. I attended Colorado State University and received my Bachelor of Science with a degree in Equine Science and business administration. I have a few years of experience as a veterinary technician for small and large animals and 15+ years of experience with handling, raising, grooming, training and caring for dogs of all breeds. I grew up with two Siberian Huskies, Ingra and Jorma. They were my spirit animal. We got them when they were only 6 weeks old or so and spoiled them with love their entire 16 years with us. I miss them with my whole heart. In 2011 I rescued an Australian Shepherd/cattle dog mix from the anti-cruelty society in Chicago. He peed on my boot, sat in my foot and I knew he was the one. Terrified of everything at first, he grew to be the most loyal dog I have ever met. He is 8 years old this year and still looks like a puppy. In addition to rover I enjoy working with horses. I am the owner and creator of Dynamic Horse Training. I give individual lessons and training to horses and owners that need a little extra help feeling confident in the saddle. I do this part time and it brings me great fulfillment. I have been working with horses for 18 years and after you do something you enjoy for long enough you no longer view it as work. A little side thing I like to do when I’m hanging with the dogs or enjoying my nights off is hand braiding nylon riding reins. I give them to my clients or sell them online occasionally. :)
