Pet care experience
NOTE: I can't be held liable if your animals beg you to go on vacation more. ;D Over 20 years of dog care experience, 25 of dog walking experience, and 15 years of cat care. I spent 5+ years with Adams County Pet Rescue (ACPR) as well as heading the ACPR Jr. while I was in High School. As a high energy teen and young adult, I have given thousands of walks. During this time, I was involved in a large-scale rescue of over 100 mini-Aussies many who were suffering from extreme neglect. We were lucky to have a class on dog training from one of our very own retired Adams County Sheriffs. Armed with this knowledge we were able to aid potential adopters of the rescue Mini Aussies as well as our regular rescues to have better relationships with their future fur babies. Post ACPR, I moved on to working at Pasado's Safe Haven. Pasado's is a rescue/ animal sanctuary. During my time there, I worked with both canine and feline friends. Many of these animals came from hard circumstances and bore the wounds of neglect because of this, I'm extremely special needs friendly. I'm comfortable with giving injections, IV treatments, pilling, massaging, specialized feedings etc. I have experience with high prey drive/ dog aggressive dogs. High anxiety/ depressed/ PTSD animals as well. Also, I love animals. They're the best and they deserve the best. I'm on Rover because I want to enjoy what I do and I want to make the world a better place. While you're away, they should be having a spa day or a PLAY-cation, if you will. Ha!

Oceanna is wonderful! She’s taken care of our pup for several long trips and went above and beyond to make sure the dog was well cared-for and had a blast. Oceanna also sent lots of pictures and updates and was quick to respond if anything came up.
We spoil the heck out of our dogs - so it’s hard to imagine that anyone else could exceed that royal treatment of them - but somehow, beautifully, Oceanna did so. In fact, she even bought them matching crowns to live up to their royal hindnesses! Not only did she care for them exquisitely, but she also took great care of our home as she house-sat for us. Our dogs loved all of the extra attention, long walks/hikes, timely meals, and extra conversations she had with them and are wondering why we don’t go away more often!
Our two pets: siobahn ? and Tory ? loved spending time with Oceanna. She was very dependable and gave them excellent care, keeping us informed by video, pictures and text daily of their activities. Siobahn is young and active and they played and walked daily. Tory is a bit finicky but they became fast friends. We felt so relaxed on our vacation knowing they HD such excellent care! ❤️
Oceanna is always so lovely to work with and great with my pup; always happy to have her care and attention during dog walks!

See above- I'm extremely flexible and will accommodate you and your pet's needs. If I'm dog sitting over night, I will bring a sleeping bag and remain in your animal's vicinity. An owner's absence can be stressful, and I want to remove as much stress and add fun and fulfillment during your time away.

I prefer to know contact information for the owner, as well as one backup contact, vet information and any relevant recent illness/injury or long-term health issues. Normal feeding, sleeping, play schedule and getting to have an in-person meeting..
A typical day
While I'm caring for a dog, I will coordinate appropriate activities with their dog parent. *BUT* We might go for a drive, grab a Pupachino, sing some Car-aoke, hit the beach, get some sniffing on, have a picnic lunch of hot dogs (or y'know their dog food, because not all dogs eat 'dogs), take some snaps for Dogstagram, head home, hit the couch & watch The Dogfather, climb into our dog beds and cat nap. Conversely, we might do light cardio (read sashay around the living room and kitchen), watch Legally Blonde & Mean Girls, make Fetch happen (for those not in the know, it's a quote from the movie), do TikTok dances, preach body positivity & eat snackies, do some yoga, self-care (do our nails/ brush out our hair), gossip and go to bed on our silk pillows.

Availability
My routine is flexible. If you have specific requirements, I will happily accommodate your needs. Does your little friend need out every 2 hours? I'm on it. Do they need fewer outings, but longer? Awesome, I'm excited for our jaunt.
