I've loved animals ever since I can remember. I grew up with dogs, and can't imagine life without them. Their gentle, innocent spirit, and their total trust in us is disarming. I absolutely love caring for dogs! A few summers ago my family and I volunteered in Dog Town, at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT. My husband and two boys (age 21 and 15) are also crazy about dogs and love to help out. We have 2 hound mixes, about 14 years old, who will be happy to meet your pup! About your pet's stay: Your furry friends are allowed the run of the house, and are welcome on the furniture. They can sleep wherever they prefer, in their beds, on the furniture, or in their crate (per your request only). We follow your routine, so please let us know of any preferences or restrictions, both dietary and behavioral. We offer lots of treats, hugs and kisses! Our big yard is fenced in, so your doggies are always safe. We stay with them in the yard, they are never left unattended. My backyard is abutting the woods where we go for walks on trails, always on the leash. We can also take smaller walks in my quiet, pleasant neighborhood. I live a few minutes from a park, where we enjoy walks and get plenty of exercise. I am a nurse by training and have experience with medication administration. We also specialize in senior dog care. I'm home all day, so your doggos are never alone for more than an occasional hour. Our price schedule: Please note my rate structure, as Rover does not currently have the ability to list it properly: BOARDING - A boarding day is a 24-hour time period. Your drop-off time is your pick-up time. We give a grace period of up to 2 hours past that. Any pick-ups later than that will incur a daycare rate. Drop-off time is after 8 AM. Pick-up time is before 9 PM. DAYCARE - A daycare day is up to an 8-hour time period. Any pick-ups later than that will incur an extended daycare fee of $10. Drop-off time is after 8 AM, pick-up time is before 8 PM. Same day daycare cancellations do not receive a refund. HOLIDAYS - In addition to the standard Rover holidays, we charge holiday rate for Easter and during February and April school vacation. During summer vacation (June-August) we charge an additional $10 per day.
