Nobody wants to accidentally get fleas or bordetella. :( Thank you. 2021 Feb Update : Taking online classes. Schedule pretty tight. Will not be able to watch, walk or sit pups as often due to classes taking up most my schedule. (Exciting !) Thank you to all my clients, friends, and family. I will still try my best to communicate and help whenever possible but i will be not available without sometype of headsup. Then again you can always pay me late notice fees when you're absolutely sure you need me and it might come inbetween my studying days or having scedule confliction. Pros : I am capable of handling multiple dogs in my townhouse. I give great feed back and communication. I take an obnoxious amount of photos with your permission. Been working with animals for over 15+ years Insured and certified to walk your babies whenever you want I have my own inhome crates and do seperate dogs for feeding/rest at 12am or if they're a puppy for nap time to keep the spaces safe and neat for all doggos involved. so(( just to be clear i do not roll over time. or days. or move one day last minute to another. i go by my refund policy and dont do late cancelations. so if you wanna pick up whenever that is fine. i wouldnt by policy be able to refund the money if the days are booked over and blocking my schedule last minute. Stops business. Stops traffick. Otherwise all good to pick up whenever you want to.)) Cons : I have more bills to pay so the deals are gone unless you are new and need a promotion code. Daycare hours: 7-9am for dropoffs and 4-6pm for pickups. Boarding is until the next evening. 6pm. Otherwise there will be a late fee. Or you will need to book an extension. Sept 19th 2020 update- fixed the kitchen and got access to the yard. Thank you for yourpatirnce! Also i lower the price to give random deals. My prices are usually 20$ for 30 min walks and 25-30$ for boarding unless it's the holidays. (And I try to give more deals as they come) The prices might go as low as 13 for walks occasionally or even 22 for walks. Don't haggle, i do it from the heart. Nova's background : I've always loved dogs since I was about 10 years old, and this goes for my experience too because I was raised around all kinds of pits. (Yes, there are different breeds of pit bulls. Pitbull is just an umbrella term. ) I've worked with the humane society, did volunteer work at multiple dog shelters for 8 years, and I've also been professionally working with dogs alone for the past 3 years. I love interacting with and taking care of all animals if we're being honest. The only reason I don't have my own dog in dc is because the kind of dog I want is way too expensive to take care of , also as an independent contractor/business owner with an already tight schedule, which means i'm busting my butt to take care of my mom, and my household. I'm available if you need me to watch your pup unless it's really late notice and my schedule is booked(Ask about late notice fees just in case). I only have so much room in my house, lol. So please be okay with the first come first serve. I will have to archive your request if there isn't a confirmation within 24 hours otherwise it'll make my profile seem inactive (or already booked even if you didnt book). I love going on long walks, and exploring dc with the dogs I'm boarding till they're tired. I'm usually outside for 2-3 hours doing a dog walk before I come home and take another dog out, or I have multiple on my running harness. I have pretty great stamina so I'm able to play with dogs for hours at a time without getting tired. Do you want updates and photos? No problem! Just also be aware I go out to walk other pups. :) Will always get back to you promptly, or at the very least make sure your pup is fine before going out. Please instruct me on any special accommodations your dog needs or anything you need for me to do to make the stay amazing. This also goes for house visits. I am open to listening to suggestions on making your dog more comfortable. If I can't touch your dog, please do not bring them here, I need full contact and to at the very least feel comfortable collaring them with my bare hands. Don't put me in a situation where i might get bit by your dog if he/she is too aggressive/scared from anxiety. If your pup can not act well behaved without you being around, for example, constant barking at all hours, using the bathroom on my floors, or straight up growling/ snarling, i promise you there will be no stay. I also require dogs to have their vet papers. :) Boarding is okay from morning till the next morning, or night till morning. Not morning till the next evening or night till the next evening. Just a day and night. Inconvenience fees for things such as destructive puppy behavior, or older dogs that aren't house trained will be 25$. So, if I have to clean that day it's 25$. Also, please inform me if they're crate trained or not. I would rather crate destructive pups to avoid those fees for you, but if your pup needs special accommodations like being let out often or can't be left in a crate or in the house by themselves, please tell me. This is really specific to dogs that have a bad temperament or require training, but if your doggo is fine being left alone or can roam the house with no problem, then they can roam around, sleep on a blanket/doggy bed, sleep upstairs with me, etc. I separate aggressive dogs from passive dogs. Any extensions are 10-25$ , if you're boarding, daycare, or needing me to house sit. Same day booking is always fine, just pay a late notice fee of 15$ if you need me asap, and this applies for my booked schedule. If I have no plans, and I don't have to cancel plans, deal with barking all night, or force space in my house, I'll wave the fee. If you ask, try to negotiate, or try to haggle my pricing down I will archive your request, and not respond. Please do not waste my time, and respect other's business. There's nothing worse then people trying to make deals when the site is taking 20% out of the overall payout. It's not a "good business practice" to lose even more money, and negotiate with people about dogs i haven't watched already, it's demoralizing to be paid far under your worth and i give alot of deals already. If you have read this far, thanks for your time. 1hr walks are only 5$ extra. Also due to weather in dc being horrid, Insane weather during 30 mins walks will shorten the walk to 20 mins to avoid dogs catching heat stroke, or getting sick. So, if it's snowing,raining, or over 90 degrees with thick furred dogs will cut the walk down to 20 mins.
