About Me: I am an animal lover and have lived alongside dogs my entire life. My childhood dog had epilepsy and required great attention and care. I am experienced in giving dogs prescribed medications that they need as well as special diets. I absolutely love dogs and will take care great of yours like my own. I take this responsibility very seriously and would never put your dog or mine in a situation that threatens their safety. We can set up a meeting to introduce the dogs before you leave him/her with us. I am very open to ideas to make you and your dog feel comfortable during your time apart. Feel free to call or text me for photos and updates on your dog-child - I would do the same thing! My Dog-sitting Style: I rarely leave Oliver at home for more than 3-4 hours at a time. I work from home, so I am with Oliver most of the day. I am home most of the weekend, or I try to take Oliver wherever I am going and often change plans to make sure the place is dog-friendly. About Oliver: I currently have one dog, a chihuahua/yorkie mix named Oliver. He is six years old and weighs 10 pounds. He's very friendly and loves to play chase and fetch with other small dogs, but he is intimidated by larger dogs. For this reason, I only host dogs under 20 pounds. About My Place: I live in a 1,000 square foot house with a large yard. The yard is fenced (less than a year old) and is very secure Oliver likes to snooze while I work in my office during the day, and also likes to spend some time outside laying in the sun, and playing in the grass when he has a doggie friend over. Your pup will have an amazing time with us and return to you refreshed and with a new friend named Oliver :) Please note: some of the photos from previous dog's visits were taken at prior residences in Chicago and San Francisco.
