Note: cat sitter only! No dogs. I have had cats for almost my entire life, and have taken care of my own furbaby for over five years. Growing up we always had 3 or 4 cats wandering in and out of the house, so I have experience working with cats of all personality types. Snuggly, playful, standoffish, shy, you name it! I have managed to bring more than one shy and standoffish cat around to purring right next to me within a few days of caring for them. Rest assured, your kitty is in good hands.

Noura is such a friendly, kind, caring, and capable person. My cat is very standoffish and somewhat mean to strangers. Noura kept him company during a long stay and kept him from becoming depressed or withdrawn. I got great and thorough check-ins with photos that set my mind at ease. I would definitely book Noura's services again when I go on my next trip.

I can administer medications, clip nails, brush, play with, feed, and snuggle with your cat while you are away. When I visit, I pay attention to how your cat is feeling and try to make them as comfortable as possible. If they are feeling defensive and territorial I will give them all the space they need, and if they just want treats and pets I am more than happy to oblige.

During our initial meet and greet visit I will walk you through my recommendations to make sure your cat is well cared for even when I'm not around, as well as get a sense of their personality, favorite toys, foods, and what to expect from them while you are away.
A typical day
Depending on the cat, my visits usually consist of playtime followed by food and petting, if they are up for physical affection by a stranger. I may brush them if that's something your cat enjoys. Treats are doled out plenty. Lots of talking as your cat meows at me will also ensue.

Availability
I usually recommend once a day or every other day visits, with 2x a day visits on a case by case basis. I will visit your cat after work hours, or before if you need 2x a day visits. Weekends I am usually able to stop by at any time. I prefer bookings to be public transit accessible since my full time job is in Manhattan, but can do visits with a car if need be.
