Pet care experience
I grew up caring for and loving all types of dogs. My parents currently have two dogs and each of my two sisters have a dog, and I take any chance to watch, walk or even just see them! I’ve had experience walking friendly and reactive dogs, caring for very big dogs and very small dogs and everything in between. I hope to get a dog of my own one day, but until then I would love to get to know yours and give them some extra love and attention while you’re away!

Nora was incredibly accommodating with a schedule change and took great care of my dog, Penny! She sent updates and wonderful pictures, so I knew Penny was being very well cared for (and played with!). I definitely recommend Nora.
We love our nanny Nora! She is so communicative, friendly and helpful! My dog has been very sick and she has been great throughout- cooking up chicken for him, cleaning up explosive poo, bathing his bum regularly, sending frequent updates and lots of cute photos and even offering to help with a few household tasks because it's been such a hard week with him being in and out of the Vet ER. She is the so awesome! We love our nanny Nora! ?
Nora was flexible and responsive. She kept me updated with pictures during Slinky’s Daycare. We could tell Slinky enjoyed his time at Nora’s. Thanks again for caring for Slinky while we visited Washington DC.

I live in a two bedroom apartment in a very dog friendly apartment building. It’s also very close to a big park for lots of sniffs! I’m a proponent of letting dogs on furniture in my own house but can ensure they have four on the floor if you’d prefer that. I love giving treats and doing training, or just sitting watching tv with a cuddle. My apartment is very clean and I’m always one to clean up after myself and others.

Let me know if your dog likes interacting with other dogs or prefers to be separate and how they interact with other humans (like my roommate or boyfriend). It would also be good to know how food motivated they are, what toys are their favorite and if they have any bad habits you'd like me to help them avoid (like chasing their tale or jumping on furniture).
A typical day
I love taking dogs to walk around the newly opened Meridian Hill park or on a long walk to the monuments to see the sights. I also like to practice their tricks with them and give them treats, belly scratches and lots of love.

Availability
I work from home most days of the week so I’m very flexible to watch your dog during the day or take them for a long walk! I don’t start work until 9 so I can do early morning long walks too. I’m sometimes busy on the weekends, but if I’m not traveling I’d often love the excuse of dog watching to get out of my plans :)
