I’m a huge animal lover & have been living with dogs, big and small, my entire life. I recieved my certification as a guide dog trainer, through a program called Guiding Eyes for the Blind, in December of 2014. I trained and sat adult dogs, as well as puppies, for two years after receiving my certification. I recently finished DU’s Animal and Human Health Certificate, as well as their Canine-Assisted Intervention Certificate, as I am on the road to becoming a canine-assisted therapist, and therapy dog trainer. I’ve spent years learning about canine behavior, canine training and understanding canine body language. Our dogs are always communicating, and it’s up to us to take the time and patience to understand what they’re telling us! Really, I just find the power of the human-animal bond to be one of ineffable nature. So, it is my promise to you to provide your dog with the genuine love and care all dogs deserve, wholeheartedly! This is not just a side job for me; caring for animals is my passion & it will soon become my life’s work (:
