Lover of all dogs - Great and Small

Pet care experience

I grew up with a German Shepard and that started my love affair with dogs. She was smart and protective and always by my side. Since then I have been able to share my life with several furry friends that have been a part of the family and enriched my life. I now have smaller dogs as I have downsized from a large home to a condo. I cannot imagine life without a doggie to love and snuggle. They enrich my life. I have cared for dogs of friends and family while they traveled and have loved the experience. They are always happy to return to my home and we remain close when they are home. I will get the dogs out to take walks and play with them in my home.

Nora is a fantastic dog sitter, she is very thoughtful, loving, and a natural with dogs. She watched our little dude teddy for 11 days, right away she sent a photo of him cozying in and it gave me such peace of mind. During his stay she taught him how to use the doggie door and gave him lots of love and play time with her pup Lola. She sent photo and video updates and it was so nice to see him having a good time. Our dog is on medication and special diet and she was diligent about staying on top of his needs. We will definitely book with Nora again! Thank you.

Nora was beyond wonderful. I contacted her last minute to watch my dog, Willow, and I was so happy I did. Nora was accommodating and so kind. She let me come over and do a meet and greet with Willow. She was so warm and reassuring that I did not feel any worry. Willow loved her immediately! When I dropped her off, she did cry a little bit, but I was so confident that Nora would take amazing care of her, and I was not disappointed. Nora let me play neurotic mom and sent me messages and pictures documenting Willow's day. I was able to sleep out of town very easy because I knew Willow was being treated like a family member. Nora was flexible, loving, and really has a wonderful nature with dogs and their moms and dads. I am so grateful I found her on this site and will be using her anytime I need to get out of town or anytime I need Willow to get the royal treatment.

My miniature schnauzer, Winston, was adopted by me all the way back in 2009. He was my only friend in a big new city when I was just starting out here and has been my best friend ever since. Admittedly, it was a struggle for me every time an opportunity came up to go out of town as I don’t have any family in town and most of my friends have children and animals of their own to take care of. I’d rotate asking different coworkers, trying not to overstay my welcome with anyone, but all the while stressing each time over the cost of potentially boarding him with strangers if I didn’t have anyone that could take him while I was gone. However, all that changed when Nora moved to the Phoenix area in 2014. Around that time, I had an job opportunity come up that involved traveling over 50% of the time for work – an opportunity I could have never imagined taking if Nora wasn’t in the area. She graciously accepted my dog into her home every time I had to leave and her little dog was quickly best friends and cuddle buddies with mine. I’d often receive photos texted to me showing what fun Winston was having with her dog, or just cuddling on her lap and watching a movie. When his dietary needs changed and there were many more steps to caring for him including brushing his teeth and preparing his meals, Nora seamlessly picked up those instructions and ensured my dog received top-notch care. Although I don’t have that job anymore, I have been doing quite a bit of personal travel recently and Nora has been very flexible and gracious in making room for my pup in her home each and every time. Most importantly, I know Nora truly loves all animals and cares for my dog as if he’s her own. She loves to do what the dog wants to do – whether that is playing fetch or with toys, going for walks, going for car rides, or just snuggling up and getting lots of love and pets. Mine of course, likes all of those but prefers to just gets all the love he can. Winston now knows exactly what I mean when I ask if he wants to go to “Miss Nora’s house” and immediately gets exciting, running to where I store his leash and waiting for me to put it on him. I can’t say enough good things about the love and care she provides my pup. I highly recommend Nora for dog-sitting, she has experience for many years with dogs of her own as well as watching my pup for the past few years. She’s amazing, you couldn’t find better if you tried!
