Pet care experience
I’m a dog lover and owner of a 6 year old corgi. I have 3 years experience boarding and walking other dogs. My dog, Potato, is reactive and very stubborn, so we’ve done lots of training that I’d love to use with your dog! Agility, exposure conditioning to scary or new things, basic obedience, novice and intermediate level tricks, and more. I’m comfortable with balanced or positive only training approaches, and have trained with all types of collars and leashes.

- Does your dog like other dogs? - What “random” thing scares or triggers your dog? Bicycles? A lampshade? Blue shoes? They all have something :) - does your dog experience eustress or distress reactivity? What helps them to calm down? - is your dog more interested in treats or attention/pets as a reward? - are there specific leash manners, obedience, or tricks you’d like me to practice with your dog?
A typical day
My arrival and the start of the walk will be very calm, and I’ll carry that calm confidence through the walk. I’ll encourage your dog to potty at the start of the walk, and then we’ll do a focused walk - moving briskly and keeping them engaged, with no zig zagging or pulling or stopping to each every tree. Halfway through our walk we’ll break for fun! Sniffing around, doing some tricks or agility, playing with a favorite toy, etc. Well do another round of focused walking and then I’ll get your pup settled at home with water and clean paws.

I work from home full time and have a very flexible schedule. I’m currently accepting new one-off clients and looking for 1-2 more repeat clients (1+ visits per week).
