Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs in the past that belonged to my friends who always trust them in my care. I have also took care of cats in college. I’ve been on Rover for well over a year. I’ve sat pets after surgery. I’ve also administered medicine to pets (even though they don’t like it)

I make sure that the pets are fed and they have clean drinking water. I make sure to have physical activity through out the day like walking or playing. I also talk with pets, so they are mentally stimulated.

Please let me know what schedule or way of life the dog is used to and I try to keep it that way. I know pets miss their owners/parents a lot when sitters come, so I try to keep their normalcy to avoid increasing anxiety. With that being said, more information is always better.
A typical day
Dogs love fetch and playing with their bone, so I tend to play tug of war with them and let them win (every time) I also love to play tag with them, so I run after them after they catch their ball/bone and try to play “I’m going to get you” I also reinforce commands they already know to cement them and the pets love it too (because of the treats)

Availability
I currently work outside of Rover too. I’m available mostly on the weekends, evenings and holidays. I am able to work with the owner if sitting is required during the week.
