RELIABLE CONSTANT CARE FOR YOUR DOG

Pet care experience

I am available to care for your fur babies full-time. You never have to worry when your dog is in my care -- lots of playtime, walks and cuddles. I have been working with Rover since 2016. I have a fenced yard and lots of large parks and quiet residential areas to walk and play in. There are absolutely no children in the home, only my husband and I. I have one dog, Chalk, who loves making new friends, playing in the yard and going on walks with pals. Dogs are never crated in my home during the day. Please supply your dog with a well-fitting harness for extra security on all those fun walks outdoors. On overnight stays, every evening around 8 pm you will get a text summarizing everything we did together during the day along with some adorable, and sometimes goofy, pictures. If you want pictures and texts more often during the day, just let me know. What sets me apart from other Rover sitters is that I am available for constant care 24/7 on the days that indicate availability on my Rover calendar. I only offer boarding. I do this to ensure that I am able to offer constant care to my boarder clients. Every dog that boards with me will get at least one long walk (of several miles) each day unless declined by the owner. You can always opt for shorter walks, if you like, or even just walks in the back yard for the littles. Your dog will also get 5 or 6 shorter potty breaks outside throughout the day. At home there is ample space for both indoor and outdoor play with lots of dog toys and chews for dogs of all sizes.

Nona took amazing care of Mango. We made a last minute reservation and she communicated easily, which made us feel really comfortable. We loved the photos and updates we received during her stay. We will definitely use her again!a

We met Nona for a visit prior to leaving. She made me feel comfortable leaving my Frenchie in her care. Eggo stayed for a long weekend. She met Nona’s dog Chalk and I believe they are now best friends. She was amazing at make sure that Eggo got her exercise but wasn’t out in the heat too long. Loved the nightly pictures we received.

Nona took great care of our dog when we were away on vacation. It was great to be able to get away and not have to worry about arrangements for the dog. She can be a little anxious and skittish, but Nona handled her just fine. We would use her again in the future.

I offer only boarding in my own home so there are never any conflicts that involve me stepping out to do walks, drop-ins, or dog sitting in other people's homes. Most sitters charge *minimum* $100 per day or even *an hourly rate* for constant care, so I consider myself very competitive price-wise due to the level of care provided.

I like to do Meet & Greets for new dogs. When you come for a Meet & Greet I will gladly show you around the yard and any areas inside the house where your dog will be staying. I am the only one who will be caring for your dog. My husband sometimes helps out on walks. 48 hr. minimum stay. $250 surcharge for last-minute requests with no Meet & Greet.

A typical day

Every dog that boards with me will get at least one long walk (of several miles) in the neighborhood each day unless declined by the owner. You can always opt for shorter walks to the nearest park (at the end of my block) or walks in the back yard if you prefer. On longer stays I can also go for walks at Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens in Palos Heights or a walk on the wooded trails at Swallow Cliff Woods in Palos Park. Another fun destination is walking the trails at The Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center in Willow Springs. Owner permission required to leave the neighborhood and travel in the car.
