Pet care experience
I am keenly aware of a dogs needs for enrichment and structure. I focus on time in nature and activities like “sniffaris” and value building trust and lasting relationships with both dogs and their owners. My philosophy for behavior training is hugely influenced by the teachings of Dr. Sophia Yin, a UC Davis pioneer in the field of force-free, positive-reinforcement dog training. I do not board more than 1 dog at a time. House is cat free.

A million percent recommend! I am so happy to have Nomindari take my pup Jax! 110% ⭐️ recommend! I’m so happy to have my pup Jax with Nomindari, and it is fun seeing the photos and videos! Personally, I am a big over-thinker, so I read through ALL the dog sitter descriptions before messaging anyone, and then I wanted chat about my approach and Jax behavior. Nomindari is patient and kind, and really took the time to get to know Jax! My home is fenced in and my dog is calm and play-nurtured so having company is fine. I don’t mind sitting in a clients home (have 3 long-term sitting referrals from summer 2022). Our home is counter surf proof and we have two industrial Coway air filters always on as well as the scheduled Roomba working hard to keep the home clean and comfortable.

Please let me know about any reactivity and or ways to make your dogs stay or walk the most comfortable. My goal is to focus on the well being of a dog and the more I know from *you* the better it will be for everyone !
A typical day
Morning hike at Mt Sutro, afternoon walk or sniffari and an evening walk or hike at Golden Gate. I also practice enrichment activities (working for all treats, practicing simple commands regularly, as well as reactivity training). If you’d like support reinforcing a particular training activity, I can incorporate it into your dogs stay.

Availability
I am WFH (as is my partner). My dog and I start the day with a 2 or 4 mile hike or walk every morning and your doggo can join (off leash or on leash depending on the location). In the afternoon, a sniffari and an evening stroll. I emphasize individual time with your dog as well as mine to create a stronger bond. For every hike/ walk - you can expect a Strava or AllTrails map. I am comfortable with your pet having a GPS collar such as an AirTag. My dog is equipped with a Fi collar.
