I’m an experienced trainer. I have a major in Psychology with emphasis in canines. I’ve had retrievers my whole life but love dogs in general. I’ve produced 7 Gun Dog Training DVDs with some of the best trainers in the world. I’m happy to just watch your dog or to provide training as well. I’m very active and don’t mind walks or runs to air out your dog(s). I can even bring my Lab to keep your pup company if that’s desired! When it comes to my personal dog, I would consider myself a “pain free” trainer. I don’t use e-collars and I didn’t force fetch. I use the British style of gun-dog training. That said, I am happy to use any method you’re currently using with your dog(s). With my educational background I believe I am well rounded and can use many different approaches to dog care and training to best suit the needs of any dog and their owners.

Nolan's passion for dogs and dog training is evident when you meet Timber, his Fox Red Lab. I can't say enough about Nolan as a trainer or a boarder. His house is set up for dogs. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful fenced in yard. His knowledge of dogs and dog pyschology was learned informally through experience, but formally in college. His calm, patient, but firm personality is perfect for dog training. We feel fortunate to have Nolan training us to train our dog. It is without hesitation that I recommend Nolan for your dog boarding/training needs!!
I have never met anyone who cares more for dogs than Nolan. The love for his dog (Timber) is 2nd to none. The time he takes to train Timber, play with him and bring him everywhere is amazing! He has a beautiful fenced in yard for Timber to play in and let him do his business. I would feel totally comfortable letting Nolan take my dog any time and anywhere and you should too. When you are gone on vacation/etc you don't need that worry of how is my dog doing, with Nolan you know he / she is in great hands! Nolan also has a wife Amanda who is also amazing with dogs and the two of them make a great team to insure your dog will get the proper attention, care and love while you are away.
Nolan is a huge animal lover. He makes a point of getting to know every dog he meets and is able to discipline them well, should the dog need it. That said, his dog is incredibly well trained and is a complete sweetheart. I can't recommend him enough!
I have known Nolan for a long time and his professionalism is unmatched. He is great with dogs and understands the importance of raising them rather than training them. He has compassion and is a great communicator which makes for both a good person and handler. I highly recommend him.
