Nolan treats my baby girl Kale (1.5yrs old; 45lbs; lab/boxer mix) with so much love and care you would guess he adopted her himself. For the past 6 months, Nolan has taken care of Kale as I work through the first year of law school. Yes, he does the standard walking and playing with her, but he genuinely cares about her wellbeing and health: he makes sure she receives ample exercise (longer walks and jogs), feeds her (which includes cooking her meals as she has allergies), and pays attention to her behavior (Nolan brought Kale to the vet when he noticed a behavioral change and irregular itching which led to the discovery of an ear infection in both ears; he then helped give her ear drops until she was healed). It was never my intention to leave Kale with my brother during the majority of the academic year, but it was the best decision for all of us (I can focus of studying; Kale gets the love, care, and attention she deserves; Nolan gets to spend time with the cutest girl in the world). I am not biased as Nolan's sister--Kale is my child and she deserves the best. I know that Kale is in the safest hands possible.

When I tell you Billy (my Pom) likes Nolan more than me, I wish I was exaggerating. He’s so kind and patient with my rascal!
