I work remotely from Oahu for a different timezone and have a lot of free time on my hands! I've worked on Rover in Oahu for sometime when my schedule allows, as I am an avid dog lover but do not currently have my GSD with me. I have owned large dogs since I was very young, including (rescued) rottweilers, pit bulls and German shepherds. I have experience with larger "bully" breeds (and a soft spot for them) as well as everything in between, and have trained several of my dogs with how to walk on leash, basic obedience (sit, stay, come, leave it, shake, lie down, roll over, play dead, gentle, etc.), potty training and have rehabilitated several rescue dogs with behavioral issues. I've raised two puppies (German shepherd and yorkie) and have experience with socialization at dog parks to train shy or skittish dogs with other dogs and people. I've corrected aggressive food behavior and am comfortable with all kinds of personality quirks. I love love love all furry friends, but dogs and horses hold a special place in my heart. My favorite dog activities are hiking, running and going to the dog park for epic games of fetch, with lots of pets and snuggles afterwards. I am comfortable administering medications, cleaning ears, bathing and brushing. I'm a calm and confident dog owner with a gentle but authoritative touch.
