**I’m temporarily discontinuing service on August 16 as I am moving out of town for college. I will be back for Christmas break though!** While I've never owned a dog myself, I have five years of experience in taking care of others' dogs (and cats), and I truly appreciate the time I spend with them! I haven't yet met a dog that didn't grow to love me; I like to see myself as a natural pet person-- I bond with them very easily! I've worked with dogs across all ages and personalities. I also don't mind giving your dog baths if they got a little dirty whilst playing! I do not mind and will not make any fuss if you decide to change plans by calling or canceling last minute as I understand sometimes life throws unexpected curveballs! College is starting for me soon (mid-August), but I will still be in town and able to provide care as long as it can fit with my schedule. Even as a full-time student, I will still spend most of the day out of class, so I could be able to watch your dog! Contact me and I can let you know of my day-to-day schedule so you could see if I'm the right fit for your dog.

The only reason I gave one star is a) my dogs are thankfully still alive and b) Rover doesn't let you do a zero star review. Do not choose Noelle if your dogs have any kind of timed medication that they require with their meals. We hired her to be with our dogs from Friday morning to Sunday evening. When we were leaving at 9:00 AM on Friday, one of dogs was having trouble taking his medicine and he can't eat until after he does so. We got the medicine down before we left, but ran out of time to try to get some food in and thought that Noelle would be over first thing to start caring for them as we had agreed upon. I text her after left to find out that she wasn't able to come by the house until "Around noon", so I had to call our normal dog watcher to come by and try to feed him and care for our other dogs. Noelle finally showed up at 12:55 (an hour after our dog's scheduled lunch time), but was running late for a separate baby sitting job (What?!) so our back-up dog watcher had to feed them lunch. THEN Noelle didn't get back until 7 PM - TWO HOURS past feeding and medication time!!! Our back-up dog watcher fed my four dogs all three of their meals the first day Noelle was supposed to be watching them. Unbelievable. Please do NOT hire Noelle if you have dogs that have to maintain specific feeding/medication schedules because she has proven herself to be completely unreliable. From what I understand, the second day went more smoothly, but we were nervous so we paid extra to catch an earlier flight home and cut our trip short. I text Noelle at 4:14 PM that we had landed and should be home by 6. We got delayed due to closed roads and flooding so arrived at 6:22 and she had already left without feeding the dogs dinner or giving them medicine. Thank god their conditions are not life threatening and dependent upon medication. Not only did we cut our vacation short, but we had to spend an extra $120 for a different sitter during the time Noelle was supposed to be caring for our dogs.
Noelle house sat our dog and 2 cats for 9 days in July. The animals loved her, she was very communicative, and when we returned home the house was as we left it, and the animals were happy and healthy. This was our first time having someone stay in our home so we were a little nervous, but Noelle was great! We would definitely recommend her services. We already have her booked for another extended stay! Thank you Noelle!

I would like to know whether or not the dog has a history of aggression beforehand. My only breed preference is that the dog is less than 110 pounds, as if they were any bigger than that they would be walking ME rather than the other way around! :^)
A typical day
Your dog and I can walk through your neighborhood, or I could take them to a nearby park to play! If your dog enjoys swimming and you allow it, I can drive them to a dog-friendly place off of the Rappahannock River. If you want, I am happy to send you updates on how your dog is doing with cute pictures of them having fun!
