Tons of time to nurture your pup!

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Noelle and I'm a grad student at CIIS in San Francisco, studying to become a therapist. I live in North Oakland, in a peaceful two-bedroom duplex house with a fenced-in backyard with my partner, Nick (also a big-time dog lover!). I have had extensive experience caring for dogs, having raised two of my own and dog sitting/walking for many others. My style is to be very gentle and patient, while still providing the necessary structure, clarity, and training, using nothing but positive reinforcements. I am very comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and providing loving support for any dogs with special needs. It is important to me to get to know each dog - to honor their unique personalities and adjust my care accordingly. I can assure you that, while in my care, I will do all that I can to make your dog feel loved, safe, and taken care of. DOG SITTING: My schedule is very open: My obligations away from home only occupy three 3-5 hour blocks each week - and at all other times, I'm home and often spend my time hiking, swimming, walking, exploring, or lounging at home...and absolutely love having doggie companions for these adventures! I can assure you that your dog will receive constant attention and personalized care during their stay. And if they thrive with lots of exercise, I absolutely love the opportunity to get out in nature and explore and play with them! DOG WALKING: I will come to your home and provide a fun 30-minute walk in the surrounding area with your dog(s). For dogs wanting/needing more rigorous activity, I will try to find a nearby park for higher-energy play and/or fetching. Since I know first-hand that being away from your dog can be difficult, I do everything I can to put your mind at ease! I will provide lots of picture and video updates, GPS maps routes of all hikes (if applicable), and welcome any check-ins. You'll feel like you're right there with us! It honestly blows my mind that I have the opportunity to do something that I love so much - and call it "work". I absolutely LOVE dogs and it is such a luxury to be able to spend as much time as I possibly can with them! So, thank you for considering me!

Noelle is fabulous with our dogs and is very reliable. She takes time to ensure both dogs have what they need and is adept at dealing with different personalities and training issues. We trust our babies and our house will be well taken care of when Noelle is there!!

I would trust Noelle with my dog, Charlie, any day under any circumstances. She has such a genuinely loving person, and my dog can't help but adore her. I also appreciate Noelle's attention to detail and her committed sense of responsibility. She asks the important questions and goes out of her way to make sure she is covering all the bases. I would recommend Noelle as a dog sitter/walker without hesitation!

Noelle was very accommodating for what was a last minute boarding. We met, she showed me her place and where Jake could be in the house (almost anywhere she was!!!) and updated me throughout his stay. He was spoiled silly with walks, and cuddles and being part of her life for 24 hours. We like her attitude and friendly manner, we will definitely be using her again to care for Jake.

Information Noelle B. would like to know about your pet

If you are interested in me providing care for your dog(s), I'd love to hear more about them and what you're wanting/needing in a sitter, walker, and newfound friend for your dog: How would you describe your dog's personality? How do they tend to get along with other people and animals? What are their favorite activities? How much exercise do they enjoy/need? In a secured, fenced-in area, are you comfortable with them being off-leash? What is their food & exercise schedule? Any special needs or other things to consider to provide the best possible experience for them? Is there any on-going training you would like to me be aware of, so as to stay consistent with the care they receive at home? And, of course, please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have for me!

A typical day

Activities are always based on the specific needs and preferences of you and your dog. I enjoy taking dogs to both big open spaces/dog parks so that they can run, as well as on hikes and long walks in areas like Tilden, Redwood Regional Park, Point Isabel, Sibley, Albany Bulb, Cesar Chavez, etc.
