Hello Loving Pet Family! I’m Noel, and in short- I love all animals! They have always been and always will be one of the greatest passions in my life. Being lucky enough to have pet-loving parents, I’ve had all different kinds of pets since I was born. In fact, I've been dog/pet sitting on my own since I was about 10 years old. Travel-wise, I have my own car (so I am able to come to you) and am available Sunday-Thursday mornings-evenings, and Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm, because I am Interactive Experience Intern at Elmwood Park Zoo this summer! I would love to help you with your pets in whatever capacity you need! While in Florida, I worked at PetSmart as a Dog Bather/Nail Clipper/Basic Trimmings, Pet Care (for ASPCA cats, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and dogs), and in the Pet Hotel. In the Pet Hotel, I worked as in the Doggy Day Camp, watching up to 10 different dogs at a time. We had to follow a set of safety procedures if fights ever broke out. I also worked overnight in the Pet Hotel, deep cleaning everything and taking care of the dogs as they slept. Therefore, I have worked in a kennel/boarding service as well, so I can also do night time visits or overnights on requests. As for other experience and education, I am a Senior Wildlife Conservation Major and Animal Science Minor graduating the University of Delaware in Fall 2022. Animals really are my entire life. I've interned in the coveted summer internship program at the Philadelphia Zoo, as well as volunteered at multiple zoos, including the Brandywine Zoo, and I have experience working with a huge variety of animals (around 150+ species!). I've worked hands-on with all the large lifestock animals and poultry at the Webb Research Farm at the University of Delaware. I've worked at many agility trials, microchipping clinics, and fundraising events for bullet proof vests for police dogs. This was when I was a volunteer for the Delaware County Kennel Club. My grandmother and I went to many events together, and she is know on their board. Loving dogs is in my blood! ☺️ I was also Pre-Vet student, so I also have knowledge of diseases, ailments, and the physiology/anatomy of many different animals. I can administer medicines and special care by your request. As for me, I am a hardworking, friendly, upbeat and responsible person. I get along well and can bond with every animal I encounter, and will make sure your pet is completely comfortable and well taken care of. I have the utmost respect for animals, as well as their owners. If you have another species of pet, I will be completely comfortable taking care of them! I work part time at a gym during the afternoons for short shifts, so I am available most times for visits. I am interning at Elmwood Park Zoo from 8am-5pm on Fridays and Saturdays starting March 21st, so I am available those evenings as well. Due to my experience, I am able to provide your pets with the utmost attention and care. I will follow your requests and make sure they get ample love, playtime, and looking-after while you are away! I understand your fur, feather, scale, or farm baby is a part of your family, and will treat them as such. I am extremely passionate about speaking up for and helping animals, who are the voiceless.
