In 2014 I started volunteer work with a mom-and-pop rescue organization where we would rescue dogs from death row and rehabilitate them and find them new homes. Duties included: providing transportation of the dogs to and from the adoption events, completing adoption paperwork and new owner’s information, collecting all payments necessary for adoption and maintaining animal availability through the website. I am also currently enrolled at FJC and working my way towards becoming a veterinarian with plans to someday have my own clinic.
