Prompt. Playful. Professional.
Pet care experience
Experience. Worked in a veterinary clinic for over 5 years, caring for dogs as they recovered from various surgeries and dental procedures. Worked for 4 years at a dog training facility and ran basic and advanced obedience classes. Adopted and trained a dog of my own (Freiberg) while in my second year of medical school. My partner and I fostered puppies until Freiberg decided our last foster needed to become his little sister (KaiDao). Training. I am well versed working with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and anxiety levels. While I am comfortable with various approaches to basic and advanced obedience training, I approach each client as an individual and cater to a dog's unique behavioral needs and the training philosophies of their owner(s). Safety. I am a medical first responder and carry certifications in first-aid and advanced cardiac life support. I am comfortable administering oral, topical, and injectable medications. Above all, my concern is keeping everyone safe. That means you and your dog, as well as my dogs and myself. Schedule. I am currently taking some time off from medical school to study for my boards (and breathe a little) before going into pediatrics. I typically study between the hours of 4AM and 5PM taking several breaks throughout the day to work with my clients and my own pups. Environment. My partner and I have a small fenced in yard and two friendly pups of our own (both play well with others!). We live less than a 10 min walk from the Waterman street dog park and less than 5 min from the smaller, also fenced-in, Gano street dog run.
Reviews
As always, Noah was great! If Willow could talk, she’d probably ask for him as her ONLY dog walker!
As always, Noah came through for us. Willow loves her walks with him. He’s great!!!
Noah is fantastic! We really look forward to using him again, and Willow keeps asking about him! On that note, is Noah free to come out and play tomorrow afternoon? Last minute work came up.
Fantastic sitter! Was incredible!
