My name is Nnedi Agbaroji and I've lived in Austin, TX for the past 8 years. After graduating from UT Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I remained in Austin because honestly for a recent graduate I couldn't think of a friendlier, artistic, or more exciting place to live. I shortly after began working for an amazing non-profit called Foundation Communities and had been working with K-5 children for the last four and a half years. What I appreciated about working with the Learning Center is that there is a sincere focus on the emotional and social development of the children so that they have the advantage to perform well academically. Having played the piano since I was 7 years old, after graduation I also took a hand at pursuing other ambitions that I had put on the back burner during my education. For the last 3 years I have been acting as front woman and keys player for Austin Powerhouse Trio, Trouble in The Streets. With several national tours under our belts and promising movement upward, about 9 months ago I resigned from my position at Foundation Communities to pursue my vocations of music full-time and performance art. Feeling a greater sense of wanting to have a more positive impact on this world through my art, I soon began my training to become of Certified Holistic Life Coach. Having worked effectively with children for the last four and a half years plus my background in Psychology, I feel I possess a genuine way to understand the needs of others and facilitate the promotion of well being. Working with dogs gives me the ability to extend my expertise further than just to my fellow humans but to being in need of a sincere reliable companion.
