Warwick Village Little Dogs Sitter
Pet care experience
We live in charming Orange County NY Warwick Village. My family and I enjoy having little dog visitors rather than a fulltime dog.Taking walks with a little dog is one of the great pleasures in life. I only care for your family dog or dogs-one family at a time. You will not have to worry about other dogs in my home while you are away. All care is super-attentive and personalized for your dear little dog person. Since my little mini dachs Minuet died at age 17 a few years ago, I really miss having my own dog but being a dogsitter is even better. We try to be with them 100 percent of the time they are with us to avoid any dog anxiety.
Reviews
Hamish had a wonderful stay. He's no easy dog to get along but warmed up to this family right away. Many walks and pictures were provided as well as daily updates. So glad we found these sitters! They can expect to see more of our doggy.
My little guy did not want to leave when I picked him up. He was given plenty of love, attention, and exercise. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely book again!
So happy to have found Nancy for Choco :)
Choco felt like at home : ). Great People :)

My first pets were cats with kittens and large dogs at my family home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. It got way out of control and at one time I had over 12 cats and kittens. There were pet chickens, turtles, various rodents and insects. Slowly and Surely were my twin tortoises in London. When I moved to Manhattan, I rescued a large marmalade cat named Ambrose and then my children had two black and white rescue cats, Sylvester and Policey, a pet iguana, a white rabbit, a bird, fish, and a mini-dachshund, Minuet. Now, I just like the idea of pet sitting. Recently, I babysat a very very large black Lab for a few days but I would like to concentrate on finding small dogs to sit for as they are my favorites. We find that small older dogs, puppies, and small dogs who believe they are people are our niche! Some dogs are quite unwilling to share their space with other dogs and they do fine with us!
A typical day
100 per cent (all clients) receive photos during their dog’s stay. And we have many repeat clients, because we book visits through many different sources! I like to go on walks with the dogs. We go on the Village walks which can be as long as 3 miles over to the library and back through the parks. In the mornings, we go on the deck for some breakfast. We will drive up to Hickory Hill for an afternoon walk up the hill where there is a breeze or over to Sandfordville School for a run at the cross-country path. In the open concept living room we will have the large black leather sofa and tv near where dinner is made in the kitchen. Everyone ends up there. One last walk before bedtime around the village streets. If we go out together in the car, there will always be more than 1 adult to help care for the dog. We will take the dog(s) everywhere we go unless the dogs prefer to stay in their cage at home depending upon instructions. Sleeping is difficult to know. I always say no dogs in my bed and then that goes out the window. Yes, even the huge black lab slept with me in my bed and I hate myself for being such a pushover. He obviously did that at home so expected to sleep with me at my house. What could I do?LOL Dachshunds are welcome and are my specialty.
