Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Niv. Mom to a saintly 12-year labradoodle - Mia, who loves making new friends. So I support her wishes. I was away from Rover past few years, growing a new coaching business, and also due to covid. I feel like opening my home to pets for this holiday. So I am back on here. I love to host calm and medium to large size doodles of any kind. In the past, I have taken care of furry babies for our friends already, and now we have decided to open the doors to more lovely people/dogs in the rover community. Ping me - so we can do a meet and greet. I'll be happy to help you out while you are away by taking care of your baby just like ours. Mia loves to play and is very friendly and gentle. We take her to dog parks and walks. We would love to know what your needs are and can work around them.

Niv is very professional and genuinely cares for your dog. I've had my 2 yorkies stay with her for 4 days 3 nights, she updated me with their pictures which made me feel very comfortable as a first timer on Rover. She even bathed them! which very nice and she asked before hand if it was ok which was very professional of her. I would recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter, and I plan on going to back to her everytime.
Our labradoodle Rex had such a great stay with Nivedita, Chris & their doodle Mia! She sent pictures of his stay & he was so exhausted when he returned home! He can't wait for his next stay!
Nivedita exudes love towards all dogs. She took care of our 8 week old puppy for 3 weeks while I was at work during the day. As a result, our dog has grown to be very social with humans and playful with other dogs. She also used to watch our older boy when we had to go on an outing, and had a clear understanding on how he needed different and special treatment from the younger pup. Both of our dogs were always excited to visit Nivedita and her white labradoodle Mia, who is a love bug in itself and taught our puppy a lot of manners as well as how to play. Nivi fed them when necessary and followed all care instructions for each dog. Since we moved cities, it's been hard to find an equivalent match!
I would highly recommend Niv and her husband Chris as dog caregivers. They have watched our 2 year old golden doodle at least 5 times, many times were multi-night stays. They truly care about animals and treat our dog like he is part of the family, we trust them completely. I really can't say enough good things!

I live in a gated building, so that part is safe. Other things I do to ensure safety is clearing up things around the house that may be damaging to dogs. Be it making sure all the food and waste are out of reach or all the socks, shoes, or anything that can hurt, be put away. Outside the home I am careful about crossing roads and keeping them on lease always unless its a designated off-leash area.

I would like to know the temperament of your dog. What sets them off or startles them - e,.g: mine doesn't do well with skaters. How many times do they eat and/or snack? Medication or special needs. Snuggle and cuddle needs - Hugger/kisser/like to be on the bed or not? === For doggy care === I prefer to sit on weekdays. I would prefer YOU drop by and pick them up.
A typical day
I love going on long walks in Queen Anne, away from traffic and in the calm of the neighborhood ending up in some parks for my pet or my guest pets(I am sitting) to play. I love to make sure they have a good run around and come back home, get hydrated and eat well. Then rest and dream of their next play.
