I've owned and cared for dogs ever since I was 6. My family has owned and fostered many dogs over the years. When I was 14 I began volunteering at a family friend's dog rescue and have a lot of experience with puppies and dogs of all kinds. Over the years I've owned multiple dogs with my family and currently have my own large breed baby. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies. Dogs are a huge part of my life and I will do everything I can to make sure your pup has the most pleasant stay!

Nitya is a compassionate person who has grown up with dogs and cares for them by putting their needs ahead of her own. She is a vegan by choice and cares deeply for every living being. She would be a wonderful dog caregiver and totally trustworthy.

I currently live with my fiancé in our house in Colfax with my large pups. We have a huge yard with lots of trees and space to run around. I will take dogs on a morning and evening walk as well as bathroom breaks in between as needed. My dog is a very large guy and is timid around people he doesn't know but wonderful with other dogs. He's playful sometimes but mostly prefers laying around the house. He's experienced many foster dogs come and go so he is very tolerant with puppies. He is very mellow and adjusting so if you're dog is a little nervous around larger dogs, he picks up on this and stays away. He loves the company of other dogs and will definitely enjoy tiring your pup out on walks.

Upon meeting new friends I just like to know how your dog does indoors, how much energy they have, and how they do with other dogs. If they require any medication, let me know when/ how to administer it. If they have any certain issues or tendencies just let me know in advance (:
A typical day
We will go on a morning walk to a nearby park or trail every morning around 11-12 pm and I have a large yard for bathroom breaks as needed. During the day we will hang out in the house and go out to the yard to play. Every evening we will go for a walk around the neighborhood or nearby park around 5-6. We'll have one more bathroom break before bedtime around 9 and run around in the yard for a few minutes to ensure everyones tired out before bed.

Availability
I'm not currently employed elsewhere and stay at home full time with my own dogs. I'm home morning through night and only leave for the very occasional errand for around an hour at most. If that is an issue and your pup prefers not to be left alone I can definitely work around that.
