Hello, fellow pawrent! My name is Nishka, and I live in a lovely little house with a fenced-in yard. We used to live in Kirkland and have recently moved to West Seattle. I share this house with my partner, and Australian shepherd, Nori. I've taken care of dogs for over ten years now of varying sizes and breeds from huskies to cocker spaniels. So please be assured that your dog will be loved, exercised, and cared for just the way you require them to be. Your dog will be allowed to roam free in the yard and pretty much anywhere in my home, just like my own dog who lives with no rules and quite frankly like a diva. And of course, I'm happy to take a thousand photos of your dog while you're away because I know how it is to be far away from your furbaby. A few things I would like to note: 1. I only board 1 dog at a time, however, if you have 2 dogs I would be happy to accommodate them since they are a pack of their own and would have an established dynamic. 2. I feed my dog and the guest dog separately just to make sure both dogs feel secure 3. I'm very comfortable with medication and following a special diet for your pup, if needed

Nishka and her household made leaving my sweet Frankie for the first time so much easier and less stressful for all of us. She was patient and thoughtful and kept me updated with pics. I would highly recommend and hope to book with her again.
Nishka was fabulous with Mikey. He has been in great spirits since we’ve picked him up.
Nate had a great stay! Nishka shared lots of updates, which made me feel very comfortable about his care. It looks like he made himself right at home on the couch and had lots of fun running and playing with Nori in the yard. I really appreciated all the communication and Nishka’s obvious love for dogs. We will definitely leave Nate in her care again in the future.

Nori is crate trained, so if you prefer I can crate your dog as well. The more I know, the better I can take care of your dog. Tell me about their schedule, their quirks, the activities they like/ dislike, any allergies, and special medication. One of my dogs in the past had epilepsy, so I'm very comfortable with dogs who need to be on medication and have triggers.
A typical day
I have an Australian shepherd, who needs high engagement, both mentally and physically. I will make sure your dog is exercised and engaged, to ensure he/she is well taken care of. Plus, my Aussie is very social and good with all dogs. She plays well and isn't possessive about her belongings.
