Hi there! My name is Nisa and I'm a recent anthropology graduate with plans to pursue a masters in animal behavior and conservation. I have extensive experience in animal care, both personally and professionally. I've had animals all my life, volunteered and fostered for rescues, puppy-raised and trained for a service dog program, and worked at a shelter. I've worked and am comfortable with a variety of animals, from cats and dogs to small animals and horses. I'm a dog owner myself and enjoy a variety of activities with my Border Collie mix, Hari, such as hiking, swimming, trick training, and dog sports, so your dog can expect to be a part of an active household with lots of mental and physical stimulation! I just moved to NYC from Austin after graduating university and currently use Rover as a main source of income, thus making my availability very flexible. I work weekdays, weekends, and holidays - most hours are fair game. I'm well-versed in canine behavior and body language, and am also somewhat skilled at bathing and nail trimming.
