Pet care experience
Hey there, I am a pet sitter who is committed to keeping your fur kid happy and healthy. I am a Queen's graduate student with a somewhat flexible schedule and a car. During the duration of my services, you can be sure to receive regular updates and photos. Prior to living in Kingston, I travelled and lived in different provinces over 2 years and gained experience caring for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, activity levels, and health needs. I volunteered briefly at a sledding centre in Quebec and worked with over 30 huskies and malamutes. Later on, when I lived in BC, I cared for my friends' pets when they were out of town. I love making new fur pals and I look forward to meeting yours :) Feel free to reach out-I am happy to discuss over text and/or in person how I can provide the care your best friend deserves. **COVID safety: I live in an apartment with another housemate and my cat. My housemate and I are both fully vaccinated.**

Ning was great. She looked after my Yorkie, Freddie while I went to my daughter's for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. My daughter has a senior dog who doesn't react well to other dogs visiting so I had to make arrangements. Freddie had so much fun while she was at Ning's. They went on multiple walks and to a nearby dog park a couple of times. I highly recommend Ning

I am mindful about pet safety when on walks, including ensuring that your pet is only off-leash at a dog park and crossing the road with care. When pet sitting/boarding, I am careful about keeping doors closed and keeping dangerous substances/plants out of reach. I usually have discussions about safety and things to look out for with pet owners before working with their pets.

A typical day
Depending on their activity levels and what's most appropriate, a walk around the neighborhood, a trip to the park, a hike, or the nearest off-leash area. Whatever makes them happy :)
