Professional & Dependable with Care

I've always been a pet owner; I have a 12 year old chihuahua and a recently-rescued (10 year old) Great Pyrenees/ Nikita mix. I am also the proud owner of a green-cheek conure and a terrarium full of hermit crabs!

I am a medical professional, taking leave from the industry as I refocus my career goals. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, I was committed to patient care and can offer that same level of commitment ...

What Nina would like to know about your dog

I'd like to be aware of any food allergies and/or dog triggers. What their favorite snacks and toys are. If they have any medical conditions I should know of or special schedules so as to be able to research to be better prepared to take the best possible care of your pet. I would also like to know their usual habits and their schedules ( i.e their eating times and bedtime). These things may sound silly but I believe that when an owner leaves a pet behind for a period of time the pet feels vulnerable and may need certain things to feel safe and secure. In order to ensure that they feel these things they need normalcy in their life to remain consistent. In addition, I would like to know of any things that make your pet feel more comfortable and safe during the time I spend with them. Overall, I want my time with your pet to be a very good experience for you and for them. During our time they will know that they are safe, cared for and get the love and attention they deserve!

When Nina watches your pet

In our home we do have two older dogs that are pleasant and keep to themselves. I have a large open space in my home free of any clutter. Your doggie will have access to a large orthopedic or memory foam bed of their choice and lots of dog toys that are machine washed after each stay. We have a pantry stocked with Blue Buffalo and Natural Balance grain free dog snacks and food, dry and wet. We have different stainless steel dog bowls to choose from that are sterilized before and after each stay. Someactivities include fetch, brushing, up to four walks a day and many cuddles and belly rubs. Your dog will be taken care of as if it was were my own and given lots of love and attention.
