I have grown up with at least 2 dogs in my household at any given time (7 total), and have always had a passion for animals care and animal rights. I have had animals from all different backgrounds such as from breeders, shelters and even a stray so I am understanding to the fact that all dogs do need different types of care and have different personalities. Although I have never worked with an animal service I know I will be the right fit for you and your dog! Sometimes I like dogs more than people, because dogs really are women's best friend! I am very flexible with my schedule since the majority of the time I work from home. I look forward to getting to know you and your dog!

Once the dog/cat is ok to come up to me I typically like to show the pet a lot of love when I first arrive, help them to be comfortable with me as their temporary care taker and hope to fill the void of their family being away. I do have my own treats if needed to help gain the dogs love through food (because who doesn’t love food). I try to treat each animal like my own but also understand that like people, all animals have their own personalities. Get to know them like you would a person, and respect them like you want to be respected yourself.

I just like to know if there are any special behaviors I should know about! For example, my dog is anxious and vocal around other dogs but warms up once he meets them. Just makes it easier so I can take personal care of each animal I care for.
A typical day
Like I said above I start with lots of love (mainly belly and behind the ear rubs). Take them out and let them sniff around for a minute and do their business. If the community has a dog park I love to take the dogs in there to play and let off some steam! Otherwise we take a nice walk and then head back inside to play with toys, more pets, be fed etc. i will usually try to follow any special instructions provided by the owner.

Availability
Since I have a full time job I typically will do most of my rovers before 8:30am and after 5pm. However, I am available to do one walk/drop-in during the day during the lunch hours.
