Pet care experience
I relocated to Minneapolis a year ago with my senior kitty after finishing grad school in New Orleans, LA. I have extensive experience with dog walking and dog sitting, including with big playful puppies to low-key seniors who just want to hang out on the couch. I am also comfortable with administering meds as needed or attending to "special needs" whatever that might be! I can currently take up to one dog at a time at my apartment, provided they are polite with my cat, or I can stay with your dog at your home. I also love cats and am available for kitty check-ins! Nina was everything we were looking for and hoping for with our first Rover experience!! She is so sweet and accommodating, we knew from the moment we met her that our fur baby was going to be in great hands. The updates and photos throughout the weekend put us at ease and when we got back, the doggo acted as though we never left! We couldn't be more happy to have found our new pet-sitter.
Nina has lived with and cared for dogs and cats for as long as I've known her, and it can't be a coincidence that her animals are extremely well-behaved and super friendly. Nina is very loving to *all* animals she meets and is very knowledgeable about their care - she has often taken care of my cat over the years, and other friends' dogs, and she treats them like her own (she even serenades them). Nina has a cat who has some health issues, and it warms my heart to watch the two of them together. Nina not only gets along great with animals, she's also a wonderful person who is truly kind, dedicated, self-less, and exceptionally reliable.
For years, Nina was a best friend to my two dogs, a Shepherd/Retriever mix and a Rottie mix. She loved them as if they were her own. She took them both on long walks through our Brooklyn neighborhood, gave them baths, fed them, and most importantly, snuggled them. They've both gone on to doggie heaven, and it comforts me that they had Nina in their lives.
Nina is a genuine animal lover and such a joy. She has cared for my dog Amy Girl many times and provided so much love, photos and checked in often. Highly recommend! She's AWESOME!
