Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Nikki (she/her) ! I grew up taking care of my own pup at home and dog walking for neighbors. I LOVE getting time with dogs because due to renting, I'm unable to have one of my own. I've done lots of overnight house sits to care for animals. I have lived in a variety of shared housing situations where I've dog and cat sat for roommates for extended periods of time. I have experience giving pets medication, bathing, nail clipping and making sure they get their exercise!

I lived with Nikki 2019-2020 with my then 9 year old domestic short hair cat, Angus. She was a great cat sitter! I left Angus in her care whenever I left town, which made me feel like I could comfortably go on trips more often. She followed all my instructions and gave him lots of love and attention! If Angus could talk, he’d probably still ask about her. 10/10
Nikki has watched our black lab Griz a few times-she is amazing and a true animal lover! I'm always worried about leaving our pup, but when he was with Nikki I wasn't worried at all because I knew without doubt, he was being cared for and loved. She also communicated how he was and sent pictures, which I really appreciated :) I highly recommend Nikki as your next pet sitter!
Nikki has lived with my 6yo cat for several years and has taken care of him since he was a kitten. She's so loving and attentive. Anytime I go out of town, she is my first pick as a caregiver. She keeps her schedule very organized and I know I can trust her to care for him on whatever schedule he needs at that time. Thank you Nikki! You are delightful!!

I would like to know if the dog has any sort of special accommodations that I should be mindful of. For example, if they have trouble going up stairs or running, I'd like to know that ahead of time. If you feel like there's something I should know about your pup, then please let me know. I love any kind of dog, so I don't have a specific breed preference.
A typical day
I enjoy physical exercise so if any of your pets need to be played with, they will certainly get their exercise with me. I enjoy going on hikes and spending time playing with pet toys with animals.

Availability
I don't travel for the holidays so I can be available for pet care over December. I do work a Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, . My weekends are completely available as well!
