I grew up on a ranch and was lucky enough to have many animals throughout my life, such as dogs, cats, horses, ducks, and exotic birds. Growing up, I was a member of 4H and trained all of my dogs in obedience and was responsible for all of their needs. Throughout high school, I volunteered at a local vet clinic after school and during every summer. Right now, I’m a full time college student with plans to graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Environmental, Ecological, and Organismal (EEO) and I hope to work with animals in the future possibly in a zoo or National Park. Neighbors, family, and friends have continually relied on me to take care of their pets while they are on vacation or just need some extra help due to a sick family member. I truly enjoy giving owners peace of mind that their beloved animals will be taken care of and safe, while they are away. I also love finding ways to challenge pets mentally, while creating a trusting bond! I take my dogs on runs every other day, currently, I take them separately since my younger dog is still learning how to walk properly on a leash. When the weather is more comfortable, I take them to our local dog park, so that i can throw their ball farther than in my backyard. I have a large newly fenced in backyard and a room specifically for my dogs. They both have a kennel of their own with a bed, so if your dog needed time away from them, I have a way to do so safely. I feed my dogs twice a day in their own kennels, only because my older dog tries to eat my younger ones food when he’s finished his. When it’s bedtime, they both sleep in their kennels with their favorite toy, although occasionally I’ll let one of them sleep with me.
