Pet care experience
I work during the day as a teacher so after work walks & housesitting work best. I worked at the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. in Oakland, NJ for 4 years. Therefore I have some experience with animals, including both dogs and cats. I also have had four dogs throughout my life time. Right now I have 2 dogs, Rocco and Lexi and they are the loves of my life. Rocco is six years old and a small breed dog meanwhile Lexi is 5 years old and a pit bull. So it's safe to say I love all dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! I have a very strong love and passion for animals so to help them and their humans in any way is always amazing!

Everything went perfectly. Nikki was wonderful and easy to communicate with. My kitties were fed and happy and I’ve already booked with Nikki for another drop in visit.
Nikki was very sweet and an excellent choice. We felt very comfortable allowing her into our home to spend time with our pup. We also had a change in our schedule and she was more than open to accommodating our needs.
Nicole has always been kind and caring towards all animals. She has been around animals for her whole life and is very experienced in all fields of animal care. She has even previously worked directly with animals at RBARI in Oakland. She will always go above & beyond to show love for your pets.

I walk both of my dogs on a leash around my yard at home. They also have an area that they can run freely without the leashes or the worry of them getting loose. So I am familiar and accommodating with whatever way you can for your pets, just let me know.

I would like to know if the dog has any special needs, special diet or anything specific I should know about. I would also like to know if they like other animals and are friendly towards other people (not including those in the family). Health conditions or medical issues of the animal are also important to know. I also have no breed preference, I love all dogs!
A typical day
I love being active so playing tug of war, fetch or even hiking/ going on long walks are ideal. If hiking and long walks aren't the right fit tug of war, cuddles and lots of love are just as ideal.

I'm currently working full time from 8 to 5pm everyday so anytime before or after those times work best. After work walks or housesitting work best.
