Hello! I am happy to care for pets of any size, breed, or species, and for multiple pets at once. I have my own pets, so I understand how important pets are to their parents. You can trust that when your pet is with me, they are getting lots of love, attention, and the best care! Whether you have an older pet who just needs a bathroom break, a high energy pup who wants a good walk and a long fetch, or a kitty who needs some midday attention, I can provide just what you and your pets need. I have worked as a pet sitter for over 10 years. I have done pet sitting overnight, dog walking, and checking in on pets with medical and other special needs. (I.e. Stitches, medicine). I have experience with dogs up to 110 lbs and with walking/caring for multiple pets at once. I have a background in animal psychology and behavior and I am currently studying to be a service dog trainer! Please feel free to contact me with any questions! I recently left my fur babe in Nikki's care for over a week while traveling abroad, which is the longest I've left her with anyone since I adopted her 2 years ago. I can tell you, it was the happiest I've ever seen Rosie with a sitter! She got all the belly rubs, affection, playtime, sunbathing, daily walks, even her complicated medication schedule was no issue for Nikki. I also appreciated Nikki's flexibility around pick up and drop off times, which ended up changing pretty dramatically due to travel schedule. She and her partner were super accommodating and understanding and overall very professional. I will definitely be booking her for all of my future travels!
Nikki took care of my two senior dogs for a week while I was away. Their food needs are very specific and she seemed to do a great job with that. She sent pictures and videos that reassured me they were fine. She even changed the sheets on the bed and washed the linen for me so that I would not have to do it on my return. I would use Nikki again for my dogs.

Pets are part of the family in my home! They are welcome to sleep in the bed and cuddle up on the furniture. I have dog and cat toys in my home and lots of healthy treats. My yard is fenced on all sides except for about a 3 foot gap which is blocked off with a pet gate. We always stay in the yard when dogs are outside and escape artists stay on the leash if they appear to be attempting to get around the blockade.

No breed or size preferences. I know how to administer oral and injectable medicines and am trained in basic animal first aid. Please let me know what kind of special care your animal needs, as well as their typical routines so we can keep things as close to normal as possible while you’re away. Also please let me know if your dog is prone to chewing or eating garbage or particular objects, digging under or jumping over fences, darting through doors, etc. so I can make sure to keep your pet safe!
A typical day
I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood with a small dog park if that’s something you’d like me to do with your dog. I also love to take walks down by the water and enjoy sunsets on the dock with my furry friends.

Availability
I work Sunday-Wednesday at an animal shelter but I am home to provide attention and frequent potty breaks Thursday-Saturday. I typically leave home at 6:30 am and return at 6:30pm on work days.
