Pet care experience
I am a wildlife biologist with 20+ years of caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. I am comfortable with large dogs and bully breeds. I have experience with young to senior animals, fostering cats and dogs, house sitting, dog walking, administering medicines, and giving lots of love to your pets! I enjoy taking dogs hiking around the Bay Area and making sure they get the exercise they need. I’m also comfortable caring for other critters in your home including fish, amphibians, and reptiles. I now have my own pup- Rocco, who is 11 months and LOVES to play with other dogs. He is neutered and friendly. I have a fenced backyard and access to bay front parks and hiking trails. I am covid conscious and vaccinated. I have a well maintained vehicle for transporting your pups for adventures.

Nikki is wonderful! We have used her a few times when we have work trips and we always come home to a happy, tired pup. Love that she stays in touch and sends photos too.
Nikki watched our two animals, Rey, a German Shepherd and Snookie, a black cat, for a week while we went on vacation. We came home to a clean house and two very happy and content animals. Nikki was very easy to communicate with and was always responsive. She also shared some images during her stay, which helped us not miss Rey and Snookie so much. We highly recommend Nikki and will be sure to hire again!

A typical day
Typically I enjoy hiking trails in the east bay or taking your pet to the park to play fetch (if that’s their thing!). I particularly enjoy the trails in Claremont canyon, Joaquin Miller, and Skyline/ Redwood park area. I also frequent Cesar Chavez park and Albany bulb if your pups like the bay!
