Pet care experience
Growing up in a Dog family, and becoming an ALL animal Lover... I have experience with all sorts of sweet beings from Bearded Dragons and snakes to finicky kitties... from tiny Mini- Daschund's to Lovable Great Danes and they all seem to recognize me right away upon meeting me. I've always believed that Dogs are the truest judges of character due to their unconditional loving hearts... and they speak volumes to us when we listen closely! Given my wealth of compassion for all breeds... I know that my patience for even the most "spunky" of the bunch will shine through!! I look forward to meeting your family member and creating friendships that mean the most while giving you peace of mind that your baby is well taken care of!

Nikki Winkler would make an excellent dog sitter! Not only is she kind, caring, loving, and passionate about animals, but she also has an uncanny way of setting them at ease in almost any situation. She has kept our pets for days at a time in our absence, which is no small feat! We have a beautiful but very needy dog who requires lots of attention, an adorable yet extremely moody cat, and a sweet little rabbit who is extremely shy with strangers. She is the type of person that will go above and beyond for animals and will treat them with love, dignity, and respect (and has proven this multiple times). As a dog owner herself, she is knowledgeable in how to care for them and keep them out of harms way. Additionally, Nikki has a longstanding history of providing excellent customer service throughout the community. I highly recommend her for this position and will be calling on her myself in the very near future!

An 8ft privacy fence provides great area for running, playing, sniffing the sniffs... and A 1yr old Lab mix is super playful on premises and having been raised initially by a pittie sister (lives with my Ex) she loves to run and play outside for hours! At your home, your furbabies will have nothing short of my full attention and excitement to play with them 😉

Please, please let me know of any anxiety triggers, allergies or anything that stands out that would make your sweetheart's stay with me less than super!! Any favorite treats, toys or playtime activities would also be great to know!! As far as breed preferences go, when I say I love them ALL... I truly do. My own life experience has included Labs, Spaniels, Chows, Shih tzus, Boston terriers, Pugs, Bulldog, Mini- Daschund and Pitt Bulls. Close family has included Frenchie, Rottweiler, Dobie, Great Danes and Wolf-hybrids... A word on ALL breeds here: I *TRULY* believe in the essential goodness of a dog's heart- home training, support and LOVE determine's behavior patterns- not a particular breed's genetics!! In My humble opinion... Lol ☺
A typical day
Although teleworking has its limitations, I *specifically* chose my location due to the animal friendly yard and neighborhood. I have a HUGE fenced in back yard with plenty of friendly neighbors that also love their furry family members and during the warm months, a dedicated doggie pool! I am also about a mile from Portsmouth City Park where daily you'll find friendly furry playmates sniffing and going for leisurely walks! If your dog loves the water or just likes fresh breezes and fun times, I've got plenty of places to go!!

I'm currently working full-time from home so I have the flexibility to care for your furbabies easily throughout the day and a huge fenced in yard for them to run and play in.
