I have been dog sitting off and on for family/friends for the last 5 years and recently got a dog of my own. I love playing with all sorts of dogs and enjoy outdoor adventures. I have a flexible work schedule which allows a lot of open space for drop in visits and/or overnights. I am an Ann Arbor native and I take full advantage of all of the parks in the area. I have had experience with longer term dog sitting gigs and have also been the caregiver for senior dogs with limited mobility. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend, Seth, who will be assisting with any future home stays. We don't have a fenced in yard but live very near downtown Ann Arbor and are walking distance to many wonderful parks where we enjoy playing with our 8 month old puppy. I decided to be a dog sitter because I enjoy being outside and being around animals of all kinds. I work on a farm which is a seasonal job as well as in a restaurant. Both offer flexible scheduling which allow time for other part time jobs and hobbies. This is a way to combine both. I have a quick response time and will happily provide text and picture updates on your furry family member. My 8 month old puppy, Arrow, is crate trained and loves his little den as a safe haven, but I am happy to work with dogs that don't enjoy crates as well. He is an energetic puppy who loves every person and dog he meets, but I will make any new introduction a slow process to make sure they are compatible friends. I am often available during typical work hours and am open to last minute requests if needed. I look forward to working with you in the future.
