Nikki is amazing and she's an incredibly reliable person with a heart of gold. She takes great care of the dogs and gives them so much love and care. She has a beautiful property with a lot of land and a small stream for the dogs to play in. There's no where else we'd rather our dogs be when they're not by our side

Nikki was excellent! This was our first time using Rover, and we are so glad we found Nikki! Our dog is a rescue and very nervous around new people so we scheduled a meet and greet as well as a trial stay before leaving her for the Thanksgiving holiday. Nikki sent updates with photos almost every day and we felt like our girl was getting lots of love and attention. We highly recommend Nikki and ...

2.5 acres for your dog(s) to enjoy!

Hello puppy parents! My name is Nikki. I live with my husband Bryan and my dad in a house on 2.5 acres in Verona. We are all huge dog lovers - yours will be spoiled and won't want to leave! We have a senior mutt named Midnight, who is a very calm and loving girl. Lurch, our Great Dane, is still young and energetic. He loves to play with every dog he meets, but if ...

What Nikki would like to know about your dog

Before our meet and greet, I'd like to have a general idea of your dog's personality, preferences, energy level, and habits. Do they ever show any signs of aggression toward humans or dogs? I need to know that their vaccinations are up-to-date and you must have them on a flea & tick preventative in order to book with me. The following information can be provided during our meet and greet: I would like to know if they have any allergies to ingredients in dog food/treats, soaps/shampoos, detergents, or even grass/pollen. Do they take any medications or supplements? Do they have separation anxiety, and if so, what typically helps them relax? I would also like to know if they tend to guard toys, treats, or bones. If you are in the process of training your dog, let me know and I will help him or her retain and improve whatever it is you're teaching them. I am not at all picky about breed, I have cared for many types of dogs with all kinds of personalities! If you decide we are a good fit for your dog, please provide an emergency contact and veterinary information.

When Nikki watches your pet

I take the dogs out for a lengthy playtime, weather permitting, at least once or twice per day, usually in the morning and/or afternoon. Your dog will be included in our schedule unless he or she has specific exercise needs, in which case I will accommodate. I have lots of toys and bones for your dog to enjoy during his or her stay, including frisbees, balls, tug toys, and stuffed animals.

Your dog is more than welcome to join us in our bed, but we can accommodate if your dog has a preferred sleeping arrangement, such as his own bed or kennel. We also have a couple of extra beds and blankets if you are unable to provide one.

This has become my full-time job and I spend the majority of my time at home caring for the dogs. Occasionally I will need to leave for doctor or vet appointments, but your dog will never be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time. If your dog cannot be left alone at all, I can make sure that I am here for them.
