This was our first time using Rover and it won’t be the last. We highly recommend Nikki. Our little morkie , Gunther, is now 15 years old but despite his age he is very healthy. The kennel we usually take him has put an age limit on their facility which was disappointing. We found it hard to find another boarding place that we felt comfortable for our little guy. We had suggestions to try Rover. We looked through the site and spoke to a few people. Meeting Nikki beforehand was a great experience and we decided to book our Gunther to stay with her. Nikki is experienced and understands how to deal with all situations. Our dog can have some initial anxiety and can be finicky with eating. That can stress out caretakers or cause more attention which kennels sometimes don’t have time for. It is pretty normal for him to lose his appetite for the first day or two if he’s in a new environment. It put us at ease knowing that she wasn’t too concerned as she knew that he would eventually eat. She was also understanding about our anxiety with Gunther as he had went missing when we left him with a friend before. After leaving him with Nikki he was only fussy with his meals the first day and then ate with no problems the rest of his visit. In fact, he actually was nice and plump when we picked him up. Usually he loses a bit of weight when he stayed at our previous kennel. She texted us with occasional photos and updates. It really made our time away very stress-free. We appreciate Nikki and would not hesitate to ask her again to take care of our little guy. Thanks so much for your care Nikki
