I’ve been around and cared for multiple different kinds of pets and breeds for the last 17 years. I also have a background in veterinary medicine with specialty and emergency care that has allowed me to work with various breeds and know how to respond in an emergency situation. I have a flexible schedule and can care for your pet(s) throughout as well as overnight and all day on weekends. I can feed, walk, play, give meds and all the loving. I will adapt to whatever your pet is comfortable with. If you have a fenced in yard and they like to play and run we can do that or if they need long walks I will make sure to give them the exercise they need.

Nikki was great! She stayed at our house to watch our three pets (two dogs and a cat) for nearly a week. She did a great job taking care of them and sent us daily pics and updates. We felt very comfortable having Nikki stay at our home & she left it clean when she left. I do not take any pets to my home. I therefore would be staying in your home and adapting to your pets needs. If they like to sleep in the bed, I am absolutely ok with that. If they are crated at night, I will make sure that happens. Overall, I like to adapt to their needs and their environment. For overnight stays I bring everything I need so I can focus my full attention on them.

It is very important for me to know what they like and don't like. Is there anything that scares them or behaviors I should be aware of. It is also important to know how they greet people at the door to ensure safety when I arrive. Feeding and potty schedule is good to know ahead of time as well and if they take snacks and what's ok/not. Again, my biggest priority is to keep everything as normal as possibly and to adapt to your home and your pet and their needs.
A typical day
I like to adapt to what they like. If they are big ball lovers, I will spend some time playing with the ball or various toys. If they need attention and snuggling I put on netfllix and we chill and snuggle :-) I also make sure to provide walks multiple times a day. If they aren't into walks or not great on walks (per the owner) and have a fenced in yard, we will get energy out that way.

Availability
My schedule is fairly flexible which allows lots of play tie and loving. I have my own business as a wedding planner so most days are spent working from my laptop however should I need to meet with a client, attend a meeting or run errands, I’m gone no more than 5-6 hours. This allows me to adapt to the care needed for your fur baby.
