Let me first say how impressed I was with Nikki at our meet and greet. She was on the floor playing tug of war with my pup in no time and he was completely comfortable with her! I could tell she really loved animals and my dog would be well cared for when she was with him. The trouble came on the first day when I checked in about 8pm and she told me she had already been to my house after work and would be returning shortly after dinner. My alarm system tracks the comings and goings, and actually she had not been there at all and it was after 8:30pm by the time he was let out for the first time that day... I wasn't pleased, but she quickly got home to him, so I was willing to look past this. That night, Nikki was supposed to spend the night at my house with my dog, but I noticed she left at 11:30pm and had not returned that night. When I messaged her at 8:30am, she explained that it was an accident, but she had gone home to check on her dogs and fell asleep on the sofa. I do believe it was an accident, and she quickly returned to my home and dog (and offered full refund). She spent much of the day at my home and I'm sure my dog received lots of love and attention... but I was hours away and worried that had I not been able to track the comings and goings what I would (or would not) know about. She spent the next night at my house and left for work early the next day. She offered to come back after work, but I told her that wasn't necessary. When I returned, the house was very clean and my dog was happy and healthy :) So, in short, there was quite a rocky start, but she did her best to remedy the situation. I felt comfortable knowing my dog was loved during the time she spent with him.
