I just moved to Tucson after graduating from seminary. I helped my partner dog sit for the last year and a half in Berkeley and he had excellent reviews (for more info, see: https://www.rover.com/sit/joelovesdogs). We love dogs! I like to play with dogs and learn what games they like best quickly. I also love petting and providing loving, cuddly attention. I understand dog behavior which I learned from books, personal experience, and a couple of dog trainers. This helps me to adjust my behavior to your dogs needs; I understand that some dogs are shy and others are more outgoing. I worked at a family daycare that was also a mini-farm and had four dogs (2007 to 2014). The daycare also provided doggie daycare to two dogs. Part of my job was to care for the dogs, including supervising interactions between the children and dogs, and helping the children learn about dogs and dog care. Also many years ago in high school, I took the vet tech training so I have a basic understanding of dog medical care.
